Saturday, 24th August was a day to remember at The Crossing! Market Day brought a buzz of excitement, and the launch of Ōtautahi is Flash! showcased Christchurch’s diverse voices. Writers as young as 3 years old shared their unique perspectives on our city and Word Christchurch transformed their words into stunning large-format displays that have made Kettlewell Lane a colourful and vibrant spot. With bustling market stalls, tasty crêpes from Crêpes De La Monde, and a celebration of local creativity, the day felt really special.
Thanks to everyone who joined us – it was fantastic to see so many smiling faces and to share in the vibrant creativity on display. If you haven’t seen it yet, there’s still plenty of time to check it out for yourself!
