WHAT'S NEARBY
AT THE HEART OF THE CITY
The Crossing sits at the centre of everything Christchurch has to offer. Cathedral Square and the iconic Bridge of Remembrance are both less than a five-minute walk away, and the new One New Zealand Stadium — home to blockbuster sporting fixtures and major concerts — is under ten minutes on foot. We’re also Stop 6 on the Christchurch Tram City Tour, so you can hop on and off as you explore.
Beyond The Crossing itself, you’re in the middle of the city’s best dining, boutique shopping, bars and hotels — everything within easy walking distance. If you’re making a day of it, you won’t need to go far.

Finding your way in: The Crossing has three ground-floor entrances for foot traffic: Colombo Street (onto Kettlewell Lane), Cashel Street, and Lichfield Street (onto Market Lane). GETTING THERE
By car: Park at The Crossing Car Park, 71 Lichfield St — directly opposite the Bus Interchange. See parking section below for more details.
By bus: The Crossing is directly opposite the Bus Interchange, where almost every city bus departs and terminates. For timetables and route planning, visit metroinfo.co.nz.
By bike: Christchurch’s extensive cycle network makes The Crossing one of the easiest destinations in the city to reach by bike. Several cycle stands are located immediately outside FreshChoice CityMarket on Lichfield Street, with further stands on Colombo Street and High Street nearby. By e-scooter or e-bike: Christchurch is well served by shared e-scooters and e-bikes, with two operators in the city — Flamingo and Lime. Both are a convenient way to get to The Crossing from further afield. Please note that The Crossing is a no-riding zone. Attending an event at One NZ Stadium?
The Crossing Carpark is one of the closest to the venue, with a special event night rate.

Paying: Pay at machines in the Level 1 or Level 2 lobbies. For a faster exit, simply scan one of our QR codes located around the car park or pay online here.
Lost your ticket? No problem. Just enter your license plate number at the pay machine or via the payment link instead. Once your payment is processed (please note a 20c transaction fee applies to all card payments), the exit barrier will lift automatically as you approach.
After hours access: Use the pin number on your parking ticket at the pin pad on Lichfield Street entry ramp, or at the after-hours door on Addison Lane (service lane off Lichfield St, adjacent to FreshChoice CityMarket).
