The Crossing Features in Metropol’s Spring Fashion Shoot

The Crossing was the setting for Metropol Magazine’s latest fashion feature, shot ahead of the Christchurch Spring Fashion Festival. Stylist Skye Zöfia Marryatt and content creator Jessie Kirk styled themselves using pieces from retailers across the precinct, including RUBY, Juliette Hogan, Sylvester, Witchery, Country Road, Belleza Boutique, Andrea Biani, Sunglass Hut, Tholsie & Co and The Gift Shop.

Skye said her picks leaned into a shift toward spring after a cold Christchurch winter, drawing heavily on RUBY and Juliette Hogan pieces. Jessie built her looks around the plaid and colour she wears day to day, wanting the styling to feel like an extension of her everyday wardrobe rather than something separate from it.
