On Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 August, personal stylists Abby Button and Stephanie Rumble bring a weekend of colour, confidence and practical styling to The Crossing. Whether you’re refreshing your wardrobe, wanting to shop more intentionally, or simply after new ideas for the pieces you already own, the weekend is designed to help you make the most of what you wear every day.
Abby is a qualified stylist and colour analyst with a background in fashion design and over ten years of styling experience; Stephanie is the founder of Christchurch studio Bright Red and has spent more than two decades working as a stylist and colour consultant. Together they’re running two very different sessions across the weekend — a live styling workshop on Saturday, and private consultations on Sunday.
Saturday: Creating a Colourful Capsule Wardrobe for Every Age, Size and Stage
Rather than talking fashion in theory, Abby and Stephanie will style four live female models, showcasing outfit ideas for different ages, sizes and stages of life. There’ll also be a live male model, offering inspiration and practical styling ideas for the guys. You’ll see how simple styling techniques, colour choices and clever wardrobe combinations can completely transform an outfit, with a live Q&A giving you the chance to ask your own wardrobe questions.

Sunday: Express Colour and Style Consultations
Take your styling one step further with a personalised one-to-one consultation. On Sunday, choose a 30-minute Express Colour Consultation, a 30-minute Express Style Consultation, or book both back to back for a full hour with Abby Button and Stephanie Rumble. Abby works from her AICI training in colour and body shape analysis, while Stephanie draws on two decades of styling both women and men through Bright Red.

30-Minute Express Style Consultation: Get style advice tailored to you, your shape, your lifestyle and the way you like to dress. Your stylist will point you toward garments from The Crossing’s retailers that suit you, so you leave with pieces you can shop for immediately.
When: Sunday 16 August, in 30-minute sessions from 10am to 4.30pm

Tickets: $150 per session. Sessions go on sale Sunday 2 August at 7pm, with eleven slots per stylist.
