The Crossing Carpark on Lichfield Street is one of the most conveniently located options for getting to One NZ Stadium on foot – just under ten minutes’ walk from the venue.

Our carpark is located at: 71 Lichfield Street, Christchurch Central City, Christchurch 8011 for directions. Google Maps.
Returning to your car after the event: There is no direct pedestrian access to the carpark from the street. Re-enter The Crossing through any of the three ground-floor entrances, make your way to Level 1 and to the customer service area, then take the lifts or stairwell up to your floor.
EVENT NIGHT ROAD CLOSURES

Road closures around One NZ Stadium will affect access to The Crossing Carpark on event nights. Here’s what to expect:
When do road closures apply? From one hour before the end of the event through to one hour after it ends. So, if you’re arriving for the event, closures are unlikely to affect you.
Leaving: Road closures do not affect your ability to exit the carpark. However, you will not be able to exit towards Manchester Street – turn right out of the carpark to leave via Colombo Street.
Arriving late? Lichfield Street will be closed to vehicles entering from both Manchester Street and Colombo Street during closure periods. This means you will not be able to drive into the carpark during this window.
PARKING AT THE CROSSING
The Crossing Carpark is more than just a convenient walk to the stadium. Our event night rate caps your parking at $15 when you arrive after 4:30pm — saving you up to $9 off the standard daily maximum. So whether you’re heading in early for dinner, staying for a late concert, or making a night of it in the city afterwards, you can relax knowing your parking cost is fixed and there’s no rush back to your car. Just make sure you’re out before 6:00am the following morning.
Arriving before 4:30pm? Standard casual rates apply, capped at a daily maximum of $24.

Paying: Pay at machines in the Level 1 or Level 2 lobbies. For a faster exit, simply scan one of our QR codes located around the car park or pay online here.
*Special Event Rates: Discounted parking rates apply only for selected major events, including All Blacks games and concerts, and only when the listed conditions are met. Any parking outside these conditions will be charged at the casual parking rates. Total parking fees will not exceed the Daily Maximum Charge.
Lost your ticket? No problem. Just enter your license plate number at the pay machine or via the payment link instead. Once your payment is processed (please note a 20c transaction fee applies to all card payments), the exit barrier will lift automatically as you approach.
After hours access: The carpark is staffed until midnight. After this time, use the pin number on your parking ticket at the pin pad on Lichfield Street entry ramp, or at the after-hours door on Addison Lane (service lane off Lichfield St, adjacent to FreshChoice CityMarket).
