How It Works
Picking Up in Person
- Visit the Customer Service Desk on Level One, near the car park entrance.
- Choose any amount between $20 and $999.
- Receive your gift card in a sleek black envelope—ready to gift.
- The recipient can use it at participating fashion retailers, cafés, beauty and wellness providers, and FreshChoice City Market throughout The Crossing.
Ordering Online to Your Address
- Visit Give a Gift Card and select The Crossing.
- Choose your amount (from $20 to $999).
- Add the recipient’s name, your name, and an optional personalised message (up to 100 characters).
- Pay via POLi bank transfer or credit/debit card.
- The physical card is couriered to your address in a signature-required parcel.
- Present it however you choose—it’s ready to use at The Crossing.
Where They Can Spend It
The Crossing Gift Card can be redeemed at participating fashion retailers, cafés, beauty and wellness providers, and FreshChoice City Market throughout The Crossing in Christchurch. From independent New Zealand designers to well-loved labels, salons and wellness studios to somewhere nice for lunch—they can spend it all at once or spread it across visits. A handful of retailers are excluded: IHF Health Club and Strong Pilates.

Validity & Conditions
Gift cards are valid for 36 months from purchase. If they don’t spend the full amount, the remaining balance carries over until the expiry date. After that, any unused amount is forfeited. Cards can’t be reloaded, refunded, or exchanged for cash. If it’s lost or stolen, we’re unable to replace it—so do encourage your recipient to treat it with the same care they’d give their favourite jacket.

Yes. Cards are valid for 36 months from purchase. Any remaining balance after that is forfeited.

What if they lose it?
Unfortunately, lost or stolen cards can’t be replaced. Best treated like cash—or that one jumper you’d be gutted to leave on a plane.

Not at this stage. The Crossing Gift Card is for in-store use only—but that’s rather the point, isn’t it?
How long does delivery take for online orders?
Allow a few business days within New Zealand, depending on courier schedules.
Is the online order delivered as a digital card?
No. All purchases through Give a Gift Card are for physical cards delivered by signature-required courier.
