FUGAWI at Kettlewell Lane
A living workshop and collection by Morghan Ariki Bradshaw.
This April, The Crossing welcomes Ōtautahi designer Morghan Ariki Bradshaw and her bold, story-led label FUGAWI into Kettlewell Lane for a special in-store residency.
Known for her powerful use of narrative through tailoring, Morghan is transforming the space into a working studio—where you can witness her creative process firsthand and explore her latest designs in person. It’s a chance to engage directly with an emerging designer whose garments are worn by some of Aotearoa’s most recognisable names, including Stan Walker, and who is reshaping how fashion speaks to identity, culture, and visibility.
During her time at The Crossing, Morghan will be designing pieces on site, inviting visitors to see how storytelling is stitched into every sleeve, seam, and silhouette. Her collection—featuring signature pieces like the Ancestors jacket, wide-leg tailored trousers, and structured outerwear—will be available to try, purchase, or order.
FUGAWI blends tradition and rebellion, with garments that push beyond binary ideals and speak to the many ways people choose to be seen. Expect fashion with feeling—deeply personal, intentionally made, and grounded in heritage and individuality.
Whether you’re curious about the design process or looking for something that truly speaks to you, FUGAWI in Kettlewell Lane is worth the visit.
